Our FAQs
Are there any rules I should know about?
This is a school club, meaning that there are rules that we expect members to abide by.
-
We expect members to behave in a respectful manner. Essentially, treat others the way you would like to be treated.
-
We respect the opinions of others (even if we disagree).
-
We do not use any hateful or disrespectful speech. This also means that the STEM Club will not tolerate any kind of bullying, harassment, or other offensive behavior.
-
We do have minors on our servers and in our club. Please keep this in mind and behave accordingly.
What is the best way to get information on Club activities?
We often use Discord as our primary form of communication. The server will often have the most up-to-date information on Club activities and other opportunities.
Do you have in-person meetings?
We do. Our club meets in Building 1800, Room 1819 on the Fairfield Campus. We also sometimes meet in the cafeteria on the Fairfield Campus.
Check the Discord server for more information.
What do you guys do?
We are a group of students, majoring in the STEM fields, who come together every so often to have fun and learn new things. Our events range from Movie Night to volunteering in the community. The club is what you make of it. We do a lot.
